This is the apartment that we now call home.
We have a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom small apartment that is perfect for the 2 of us.
We are so luck to live in a brand new apartment complex that was just built. We are the first family to live in this apartment.
Our apartment is close enough to campus that Tim can walk to school and my drive to work is about 10 minutes.
I wish that we could hang more things on the wall, since we have lots of pictures to hang. Because it is a new apt we can't put holes in the walls. We tried the command strips, but since the walls are textured they do not stick. I would love other suggestion of how to hang things in an apartment.
We are able to see the Rexburg Temple from our bedroom window.
We have a big closet in our room and we also have a storage closet.
Our storage closet is actually really big. We decided to fill it up with storage stuff since we have the space. Since we will only be in this apartment for about a year we decided to keep the boxes that everything came in. We were not planning on doing this but since we have this storage closet we decided why not.
We are going to a family ward and really like it. There are a lot of young couples and it is a new ward that was just created a few weeks ago. This is nice because everyone is new to the ward.
Things have been really busy around here. I am now working 30 hours a week. Tim is going to school full time and working part time. It is a busy life, but we are enjoying it.
We are so thankful for everyone who supported us with our wedding and helped us have things to create our first home. Thank you!

Your apartment looks amazing with some fun decorating ideas. You are right, it's perfect for you TWO. I'm so glad you are settled in and doing well. Your apartment looks just perfect for you two. I love how you've added lots of pictures. You could just use that rubbery tacky stuff and stick the pictures on that way. They wouldn't be in a frame but....
