So this is the first cake I made in my Cake Decorating class. It is a chocolate cake and I made my own frosting. We had to have flower, and writting on the cake. My roommate is comming home today from South Jordan so I decided to make her a welcome home cake. I probably should have done the writting in a darker color so you could read it better, but that is ok this is my first one of many!

Elaine the cake looks great! I love the little flowers. I'm surprised that you did purple. I would have thought PINK! I'm sure Jenny will love it. I'm glad that you like your cake class. Love You!
WOW. . . are you sure this is your FIRST. It turned out amazing. I love the side of the cake too. The pattern in awesome. O.K. it looks like we are going to have to have a "YOU CAN HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT TO" party soon. Keep up the great work.
