On Saturday my friend Nicole and I had a St. Patrick's Day Party. We decorated her apartment with lots of green. We had green food like green cookies, green cheese cake, green chips, and green cake.

We even painted our fingernails green. My roommate Randi had the perfect shirt to wear and she let me barrow it. On the front it said shamrocks and inside the hood it had four leaf clovers. I was really excited that I was able to match the theme of our party.

This was our green Cheesecake. It turned out great and was a big hit. Thanks so much Jewel for all your help with ideas.

I LOVE IT. You are so LUCKY to have such great friends to share your green party with. I wish I could have come over and tried the food, did it leave your teeth green? I might have even painted my fingernails green. SO FUN.
Thanks for sharing the pictures.
What a fun party! I love the green cheesecake. That sweatshirt is really cute. Have a fun day!
I am "Green with envy" I used to have a St. Patrick's day party in kindergarten and we ate lots of green food. The grapes and green apples were the kids favorite. Hey next time invite me and I'll teach you how to do "the Irish Jig" I can also do the bunny hop wearing ears. (the ears are white paper and the centers have pink cotton balls) Elaine, you are very lucky indeed. Ye all look Irish to me.
Maybe we should do a "Green theme" for Grandpa Burgess's birthday..Can we borrow some ideas?
Oh it looks like the party turned about to be super cute! I learned today that St. Patrick's day is a lot bigger deal than I had ever expected!
