The Rope Swing

The other day we went to a rope swing in Rigby Idaho. Someone has made this rope swing in their back yard and are fine with letting us use it. There is also a slide that goes into the river too. I went with my roommate Jenny and some of our other friends. It was so much fun and it had been warm that week so the water wasn't that cold. It was so much fun! Except for the last time I went on the rope swing I made a discovery as I was swimming out of the water that I couldn't move my middle finger on my right hand. Somehow on the rope I must have jammed my finger as I fell into the water. I didn't want to complain about it while we were there so I just tried to ignore it. On our drive back to Rexburg I looked at my finger and it was Black, Purple, Blue, and Red. I was really worried that I had broken my finger! We all know how good I am with stuff like this so of course I was so worried I would have to go to the doctor. Just from looking at my finger it made me sick. It is a good thing one of my roommates is first aid certified and new what to do. She put it in a splint and wrapped it up. This happened on Friday and my finger is still a little swollen and sore. It does continue to get better and since I can move it I'm guessing I didn't break it. My roommate's are learning the reason why I am a Business Major...because I don't to very well with medical things. It has been quite the adventure and I hope it heals and everything ends up being fine. I think it will just take a while because I jammed it pretty good! I hope it heals soon though because I have decided to be on an inter mural softball team with my roommate Jenny. I am very excited because I haven't played softball in a long time and it will be a fun break from school!

Sounds like tons of fun! I'm so sorry to hear about your finger though. I'm so glad you have room mates who can help you out. I hope it gets feeling better soon.

I want that slid and swing in my back yard. . . . how fun. I'm glad it wasn't that COLD. I'm hoping you can do intramurals, I loved doing them in college. I even worked part time being a umpire to earn a little extra money. I met a really good friend in college when I did intramurals and she was a bridesmaid in my wedding. You are tuff, I know you won't let a sprained finger stand between you and a softball game. Fun post.
